Mirror is not a professional service. Mirror does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or emergency support. Mirror is not a substitute for licensed professionals or real-world support.
Mirror is not intended for use in emergency situations.
If you believe you may be in danger, experiencing a mental health crisis, or thinking about harming yourself or others, seek immediate help by contacting local emergency services, a qualified professional, or a trusted person in your life. You acknowledge that Mirror cannot provide crisis support and is not an emergency service.
You may use the Service only if you: - are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), or - if we explicitly allow use by minors in your jurisdiction, you have verifiable consent from a parent/guardian and comply with any required protections.
We do not knowingly permit use by children under 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable law).

You may need to create an account to access parts of the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4.3) Your Responsibility for Use
You are responsible for: - all content you submit; - your choices and actions based on outputs; - ensuring your use complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.
The Service uses automated, probabilistic language models to generate outputs.
You understand and agree that: - Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading; - Outputs are generated based on statistical patterns and do not reflect understanding, intent, or awareness; - The AI is not conscious, sentient, or aware; - The Service may misinterpret context or user intent.
You are solely responsible for evaluating outputs and deciding how to use them.
Mirror’s outputs are for reflective purposes only and are not professional advice.
You agree not to rely on the Service for: - medical or mental health diagnosis or treatment; - legal advice; - financial, investment, tax, or accounting advice; - emergency decision-making; - spiritual or religious authority.
You remain the final authority on meaning, belief, decisions, and actions.
7.1) Ownership
As between you and Mirror, you retain ownership of your original content you submit (“User Content”), subject to the license below.
7.2) License to Operate the Service
You grant Mirror a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, reproduce, and display your User Content only as necessary to: - provide, maintain, and secure the Service; - generate outputs requested by you; - troubleshoot, improve, and develop features; - comply with law and enforce these Terms.
7.3 ) Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.
7.4) Responsibility for User Content
You represent and warrant that: - you have the rights to submit your User Content; - your User Content does not violate law or third-party rights; - your User Content is not misleading, harmful, or unlawful.
You agree not to: - use the Service for illegal activities; - attempt to reverse engineer, extract, or discover system prompts, model weights, or other proprietary components; - bypass safety systems or usage restrictions; - submit malware, exploits, or attempt unauthorized access; - harass, threaten, defame, or target others; - impersonate any person or entity; - use the Service to generate or distribute content that is unlawful, exploitative, or that violates others’ rights; - use the Service to provide professional services to others while presenting outputs as authoritative.
We may investigate and take action, including suspension or termination, if we believe you have violated this section.
9.1) Our IP
The Service, including software, design, branding, text, graphics, and AI prompting and orchestration (excluding your User Content), is owned by Mirror or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
9.2) Limited License to You
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial reflective use, subject to these Terms.
9.3) Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
The Service may integrate or link to third-party services (e.g., hosting, analytics, AI providers, payment processors). We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
If the Service offers paid subscriptions or in-app purchases: - Prices and billing terms will be disclosed at purchase. - Payments are processed through Apple, Google, or another authorized payment processor. - Subscription management and cancellation follow the platform’s rules.
No refunds are provided except as required by law or platform policy.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our Privacy Policy.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at copyright@themirrorcollective.com with: - identification of the copyrighted work; - identification of the infringing material; - your contact information; - a statement of good faith belief; - a statement under penalty of perjury; - your signature.
We may suspend or terminate your account or access at any time if: - you violate these Terms; - we believe your use poses risk to the Service, other users, or the public; - required by law or a platform policy.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Some sections of these Terms survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution.
To the maximum extent permitted by law: - The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” - We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. - We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law: - Mirror is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. - Mirror is not liable for damages arising from your use of or reliance on outputs. - Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Mirror in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mirror and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: - your use of the Service; - your User Content; - your violation of these Terms; - your violation of any law or third-party rights.

18.1) Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@themirrorcollective.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
18.2) Binding Arbitration
If we cannot resolve the dispute, you and Mirror agree to resolve any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service through binding arbitration, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if eligible.Arbitration will be conducted by [AAA/JAMS] under its rules. 18.3) Class Action Waiver
You and Mirror agree that disputes will be brought only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding.

You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing legal@themirrorcollective.com with your name, email, and a clear statement that you opt out.(If you prefer not to include arbitration/class waiver, tell me and we’ll replace this with courts/venue language.)
